As you are no doubt aware the revised law relating to Data Protection comes into effect today the 25th May 2018.

The World Ju-Jitsu UK CIC, and associated companies, (hereby known as the WJJF), have taken steps to ensure that we are compliant with all the necessary requirements.

The WJJF is committed to protecting the privacy of personal data that we retain about its students, employees and other individuals and we continually review and revise all our procedures with regards current / impending legislation, ensuring that any information we hold is accurate, we will never spam, pass or sell any details onto a Third Party.

The new regulations have an impact on everybody, how we document personal data, what personal data we hold, where it came from and who we share it with, our procedures have therefore been checked to ensure that they cover all the rights of individuals under the revised Act, in particular regards to the retention and /or deletion of personal information.

Aside from formalising the above, not much will change from our end, in terms of how we communicate with you as we have been working to Privacy and Electronic Regulations for some considerable time.
