Congleton Ju Jitsu Club recently held their Summer Gradings at Congleton Leisure Centre.
Technical Officers from the Federation Head Quarters in Liverpool passed judgement as up to 70 junior and senior students aged from 6 to 60+ performed techniques to achieve their next grade.
To earn their new belts students had to show competence at escapes, joint-locking, throwing, ground-work, punching, kicking, kata and in some cases weaponry too.

Trophies were also awarded to Conah Hawtin (Best Attendance), Helena Todd and James Franklin (Students of Merit).

The Club runs on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings for juniors, and Wednesday and Friday nights for seniors. All Coaches are trained, Insured and DBS checked. New students are welcome at this time.
