📢 Big News from Isshin Ryu Jujitsu Kirkby!

After 20 incredible years of dedication, Sensei Derek Jardine has retired from Ju-Jitsu and stepped down as Head Coach due to ill health. Derek’s contribution to the art and the WJJF has been immense – from organizing the Kinenbi Seminar to the 40th Anniversary Kata Competition, where his students shone brightly.

In recognition of his service, Robert Hart Hanshi the WJJF President awarded Derek the prestigious Silver Salva. We thank him for his loyalty and commitment and wish him a long, happy retirement. 🥋👏

The good news? The club continues strong! Sensei Steven Payne (2nd Dan, Club Coach, WJJF Director) has kindly taken over and is already building on Derek’s legacy.
